Greetings from

Women Ministries

Welcome,

We are better together! So we love to gather women together twice a year. In the spring we have our Spring Celebration, which is a one-day conference that changes location every year. The day is packed with a welcome coffee, resource materials packet, in-depth teaching, practical workshops, an inspirational testimony, the East Coast Women’s Ministry Annual Report, lots of time to interact with others, and, of course, a wonderful lunch. Look on our Events Page for our Spring Celebration information. It might be something women in your church could do.

In the autumn women gather for our annual Fall Retreats. We meet on the third weekend in September in the North at Pilgrim Pines and on the fourth weekend in September in the South for annual retreats. These are weekends filled with great teaching, workshop topics that you apply to your life and ministry, laughter, time to reflect on your relationship with the Lord, and time for you to connect with old friends and develop new ones. Our team wants to use these weekends to also reach out and connect Women’s Ministry church leaders to one another. Setting aside an entire weekend can be a sacrifice of time. Yet, it is always worth it.  So plan to ask women to come with you and take the initiative to get them to sign up. We want to equip church leaders to continue in ministry in between our meeting together in the spring and the fall.

In the Old Testament book of Ruth, a wonderful and warm relationship is developed between two very different women. Naomi, an older woman from Bethlehem, becomes close with Ruth, a younger woman from Moab. Through the difficulties and joys in life they both grow in their relationship with each other and with God. If you are a Naomi in your church, seek out a Ruth. If you are a Ruth, seek out a Naomi. We both need each other. We both can learn from each other.

In His grace and love,
